Made slowly.
The leather
Full-grain calf, vegetable-tanned, in four colours. It is not coated, so it marks, darkens and softens with use.
The weave
Strips are cut by hand and woven over and under, the same way for every piece, so a tray and a basket bought years apart still belong together.
The brass
Solid brass studs and rivets, left unlacquered so they tarnish to an antique gold.
The mark
Every piece carries the TYR mark, blind-debossed into the leather with a brass die.
Care
Wipe with a dry cloth. Feed with a neutral leather balm twice a year. Keep out of direct sun and away from radiators. Do not soak. If it gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature.
